Business people never understand the insight involved in development and vice versa. In order to gradually increase the growth, business should go in hand with development. Everyone should be treated equally.

Business brings orders. Development fulfills orders. business Delivers and makes money. thats it. Most of the business concentrate on parts where they earn more. If you see todays world, money is playing with the hands of the software companies. where ever i go,i see lot of ads related to infrastructure, Human resources etc. I am sure that i am talking about business and development related to software.

Software is where you dont have to invest except for hardware if u use open source software. create stunning software applications that is used by businesses and make money. in that way, software is booming in india. Lot of software companies are becoming global such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, CTS and other notable mascots etc which u could see in opportunities. I think companies which succeeded might have a good Talented guys where the business team and software development team go in hand like the rail tracks to reach a perfect destinations.....

Commitments

Commitments - This is very important to each and every one. If you are going to give commitment to anyone, its my pleasing thing, dont give it. the reason is, i give lot of commitments, and never follow that. and i dont know why i am not fulfilling that.

And in that way one person was affected who is in a big position in a company. I gave lot of commitments. i failed to fulfill it. I had my own personal work and then i was very tired about that. since i was seriously thinking about my future, how to progress, but i am spoiling others future also. then i realised that i should not give commitment. if i give, then the first job is to fulfill it.

you can't be 100% perfect. but You can be atleast 50% perfect. do that 50% of commitment.

Hardwork & its Rewards

Hardwork - a word easy to say but pratically not feasible. If u think that i am doing so much hardwork but everything sucks. No rewards. I think u were losing some where and Hardwork is not whole hearted. I can say A person with 100% confidence and works hard, i am sure he is going to be rewarded with plenty of necessity things.

I have seen a friend of mine who is good at some point before he joined with me in my graduation came from a town. Now he has become a wiprowite. Yes! after a long trouble, he joined wipro. According to me, he taught me a lot and we used to prepare for the examination at his PG and we use to have fun. he used to tease a lot. but then we and among others had fun. He attended so many interviews and all employers said lacking of experience. But he never tired of attending the interviews. But one fine day he called me up and said "I got the offer at wipro. I am happy about that da."...

From this people who ever reading this can understand that Hardwork rewards, but it might delayed. Dont lose Confidence.

Flock, Firefox and open source

Flock? Dont Worry. Its a new browser developed based upon Mozilla Code base. Flock is somewhat different in Look and Feel as i downloaded today and installed for my hacking purpose. Since Firefox is in long way for me to reach, i joined flock team so start some development as i am good at javascript.

From my point of view,
Flock = Mozilla Code base + Firefox Extensions + Some UI Integrated.

I reason why i joined Flock community because i am very much interested in R&D kind of things. Since Flock Development started just now, i thought it could be a good journey in my techno life. Flock is some what built using Firefox 1.0.5 version of source. check out Flock.com for more information.

Every human beings facing problems or sadness in his life is because of himself. Because he keeps on loving what are all the things he sees and there by lead his life into problems.

Here are my sadnesses due to endless love...
But sometimes i am selfish - worst than the worst. it just happens to me. i can frankly say that i am behaving in a psychic manner. if something happens what i thought to do, extreme happines bounds me. if somethign doesnt happen what i am capable of doing, extreme frustration bounds me and make to think bad
Don't loose your confidence at any level all have the capability to do..but they should believe in themselves to get it done But i loose / gain confidence often nor gain persists nor loose persist

My inner mind says that i should grow up well and should help others but my physical mind says no to that. often i follow physical minds which gives me happiness. but i suggest you (reader) to follow your inner mind. though it may be difficult at present, in the long run it is going to use ful.

Hope i will soon consult a good psychian to solve all my inner minds problem.

Ghajini - Handsome Suriyah, Gorgeous Nayanthara, good Looking Asin

Suriyah is called as sanjay ramasamy and is a rich business man owning a telecom company called air voice. he is a affected by short term memory loss. that is every 15 minutes he looses his memory and only remembers last incidents which happened at one instance before he was injured.

Asin played a good role in terms of comedy, crazyness etc. she also deserves for her kindness to the physically challenged humans in the film. Asin loves manohar(suriyah)

Gorgeous Nayanthara, who i liked the most in the film because of her stunning look, glamour etc. she played some what ok.

I would congragulate A.R.Murugadoss for his stunning work on trailor, film editing, screenplay etc which took the eyes away. Harris jayaraj has done the music very well. Its going to be a big hit.

Story:
Sanjay ramasamy with his short term memory loss illness, wanted to kill the guy who killed kalpana (Asin) due to some controversies between the villain and kalpana in the girls kidnapping issues to bombay. Half story was read from the diary by a policeman who found that sanjay ramasamy is the killer but unfortunately he died. so nobody knows who killed the villan gangs. in the next half, Nayanthara reads the diary and investigates the case ineager to know what had happened. she is a medical college student in the film. she is modern, good looking, sexy! She then helps sanjay ramasamy to find the villain and at last as usual masala mix fight where hero wins the battle under a rainy situation. villains were dead. villains where twins. Films ends.

Music is good. I like the songs...

Shocking Brutality at Bangalore Railway Station

Hi!

I would like to bring to notice a certain injustice that I have
subjected to at the Bangalore Railway Station (Majestic). On September
30 (Friday), 2005, I had been to the station to see off my fiance and
her mother. They took the Karnataka Express (Train #2627) to Jhansi at
6:30 pm.

On my way out I was asked to present my platform ticket by a railway
official. On producing the same, the TT turned around and told me
"What if I say that you haven't given me the ticket?" Before I could
react, he along with his colleague pushed me into the adjacent enquiry
cabin and physically manhandled me. I was slapped several times, my
spectacles were grabbed and deliberately crushed by foot, and my phone
was flung away from me. The RPF comprising of one RPF and four
constables, appeared on the scene. The surrounding public was whisked
away. None of the railway police officials cared to listen to me and
they started hitting me indiscriminately with lathis. They dragged me
out, and all the 4 constables continued hitting me with lathis from
Platform 1 to Platform 3/5, till we reached the station master's
cabin. Racist abuses and threats were made on the way. At the station
master's cabin, I was told that I have been charged with a
non-bailable offence and would be behind bars for 15 days.

Not for a single moment was I allowed to speak. All of a sudden a
stranger came to the scene and he claimed that he was there to help
me. Having lost all my physical strength and mental senses, I was
happy to see some sort of help. He, claiming to be V Srinivas from
Infosys, talked to the officials and the railway police in Kannada. He
told me that the only way I was to get out was if I was willing to pay
my way through. Being in no state to make a rational choice, I gave
him my ATM card and pin. He took one of the RPF chaps along with him
and said he would clear the matter. He returned some time later saying
that everything was okay now.

I was asked to sign a statement which said that I hit the police and
TT in a drunken state. I refused. Finally, they pressurized me to
write that I did not produce a platform ticket when asked. I wrote the
same and then V Srinivas took me out of the station. He joined me in
an auto and took me to the ICICI ATM at Anand Rao circle. He withdrew
Rs. 15000 from my ATM and got back. he took the cash under the pretext
that while helping me he had left his wallet in the train he had left
behind and that he would return the same through his ICICI Internet
account. Having broken down mentally I did not realise that I was
being cheated. He then took me to a Samsung showroom and tried
purchasing a cellphone worth Rs. 18500 with my card. It was only then
that I realised what was happening. I grabbed my card back, caught him
by the collar, snatched my cash that lay in his pocket, and got into a
running auto.

I have now realized that all of this was a plan. There is a strong
nexus between the railway officials, the railway police and the
fraudster. The railway officials identify a victim who they think is
well-to-do, the RPF beat that individual till he has no physical or
mental well-being. Then this fraud chap comes on to the scene, takes
advantage of the situation, and takes all your cash away. Also, this
series of events generally occurs on the last day of the month as they
know that the salary gets credited on this day. (This strikes me now
because the self-proclaimed Infy employee, V Srinivas, clearly asked
me whether I had received my salary. He said that he just wanted to
find out if there was cash enough to tackle the case.)

Now three days hence, I have tried to run from pillar to post. I have
been forced to miss office hours in my effort to get justice. But I
don't want to give up the fight midway. If any of you are in the
media, or have friends/relatives who are in the industry, I'd like to
speak with them about this in greater detail. I believe it would
catalyze my efforts.

Also, please pass this email to all the people who reside in
Bangalore, so that they don't fall into the same trap.

Google is a internet search company which u might know. But we can call Google also a worlds largest media company now. Google has now planned to set up a 1 millon square foot research center in the NASA's AMEs Place.

Google is not just a search engine. they go beyond the space i think... see google products like google talk, google groups, gmail, google desktop search, google adsense etc which became the daily resources to the internet users. i think that is the reason for google's success.

Google generates all its revenue interms of Ads which it publishes through its network of websites virtually. They want to provide free Wi-Fi internet access to the san francisco region, and lots more coming from it.

about a real Indian

"In the middle of 1965 India-Pakistan war, US govt - then a close friend of Pakistan - threatened India with stopping food-aid (remember "PL-480"?). It took just 40 years. Last week THE day arrived. When Indian ambassador in Washington DC handed over a cheque of US$ 50 million to the US govt, two plane loads of food, medical aid and other relief materials were waiting to fly to the USA. Time to break the fast? With no bad feeling about the USA, and good wishes for the Katrina victims, this humble Indian feels proud
of the distance India has covered in 40 years. Let's celebrate a New India!"

for everyone who have got any type of Vehicle except Bicycle.

lazy for bloggin

hey you there!

i feel like i am questioned myself when i think about blogging. i feel lazy to type with the key board what i have in my mind or what i want to share... hey guys can you tell me if u find any application that can automatically transmit data from my brain to my blog and also i need one management tool so that i can direct which posting should go live directly from my brain.

i think technology can do this but i am not sure when it is going to be invented....but one day i am sure it is going to be invented. machine can read from human brain and generate signals and which are then processed and converted to english language for publishing in this blog.

the above two paragraph might look that i am crazy...what to do..i want to blog. but i am lazy..he he he

so after a long time i am blogging. i do work on many research and development projects in my present company and looking for something special and unique which can make me think...some complex mission critical applications not a just web based applications which i am developing now at my org.

but i know with this 3 letter word, i can create wonders..and i am looking for that time... right now i am at my org. for the application support. everything goes in mind for blogging like i caught by the police for not having the records etc and i have to meet the SI today after having the records.

now a days i expericence lot of news things..even i bought a new computer monitor..which i like very much. now a days fun @ work decreases and tension increases and i cant stop thinking about anything... i wanna do business, create innovative things which will be usefull to the people. dont think like i am writing the positive aspects of mine. its just a thought which i have in mind. i do lot of mischieves like looking at a beautiful indian girls, enjoy watching them, and i never teased any one till now(kalaachathu kidayathi). but people will always say that i am teasing....

i feel like i am getting very low pay from my org. every org. thinks like if i am leaving, they have other people who can handle those work. i dont know why this happens. bull shitssssssssssss.

Lots of Work today

Today I am not going to office. you know why?? Its my Compensation Off today for the mobile bulk upload project. so i have done much of the work today.

Morning session
I went to college to get my T.C and also on the way i went to post office and got the Passport Application and then met saravanan to give the book i lended from his friends for RHCE. After coming back from the college, i had enough parotas and omlettes in the near by hotel and then went to RTO Office for taking LLR. But it too late since i was there at 12.30...and i gave 30 bucks for the doctor nearby for getting his attestation.

Afternoon Session
Then came home and took rest and at around 3 pm i started to nokia service centre in mount road for replacing the head set. but the authorised person said it will take around 1 month for replacement. after giving that, i went to meet bala's friend and then came home and working on a small mobile project.

Evening session
Mobile project is what i dont know. so i am researching some thing related to mobile and was happy about the technology i know about that.. So much tired today because of lots of field work i did..

so i am going to sleep...bye

Last day of the project... & my sunday spencers..

Last day of the project.
Yahoooooooooooooooooo.! I and with my team in our company completed most of the project and everything gone to staging server. i am very much happy about this. we fixed lot of small bugs, logical bugs etc.. one of my colleague from my team has been push on to other project.

my sunday Spencers..
on sunday i went to spencer and i see people rush like the one in Ranganathan streets in T.nagar. and now a days we can get cheaper goods in Spencer if we search for a product there. I also hope that products are also good. instead of buying branded shirts, wears like that we can go for spencer and search for small good quality cheap cloths and we can buy that.

you can also have a great sight at the modern girls roaming here and there with cell phones and sleveless dress..gorgeous, glamourous..etc. i roamed around music world, some rajasthan shops to buy some jewels like thing but did not get it. but enjoyed visiting there.

I hope you guys also enjoy freaking out in spencers on weekends...

Bad + Good News

Bad News
I was on the way to my office and i suddenly got a call from Rafi saying some bad news. you know what happened....i was caught by the traffic police man for speaking over cell phone while riding the bike. I was shocked for this...and i request the cop to give my bike key which he took when i stopped the bike near to him.

After that i was asked to pay Rs.100 as a corruption cost. i dont have money with me. so i called my colleague tamilarasan and he helped me. then i went to office. rafi again called me and said that Karthik80 who was working with us met with an accident when he was trying to swim in the swimming pool of water upto leve 4 feet before that he had some liquor.

He was affected by that and now he would not able to move his body any more..all his sense works upto the neck...its so sad for a kind person which happens like this...thats why i hate god whom i now a days called them as dog...but even dog will be thank ful but god did not.....

Good News
Our Project was almost completed today and we fixed some bugs sent by our testing team and we enjoyed today having good food from hot chips --meals, juices, vadai... and enjoyed and came back home and speaking with kamini,,my new friend ..

Hi all,, Today is the last day for the project which is assigned to me. i hope everything works fine as per the requirements. lots of issues has been raised for one of my colleague and after that it solved. yesterday. some times we get confused of what we do due to over load of the work or for not having the clear input.

may from monday or today i might go to office in time and leave office in time due to the practise for the RHCE Exam. to tell about RHCE which abbreviates for Red Hat Certified Engineer is a certification exam conducted by red hat Inc all over the world to certify linux professionals.

I hope this chirstmas eve, i might be doing the exam. this exam is fully practical for 5 1/2 hours. troubleshooting, servers configuration etc in RHEL 4 OS.

Also i am looking for ringtones kind of concepts so that i can distribute the ringtones for free to all those subscribers. that why. lets see whether my concepts reaches millions of people...

Its a Bad day for me

Its definitely a Bad day for me...What can i do for that... i learnt a lesson i.e how to behave to people at workplace... Something like that i should not be much close, everything official like that.
so why did i took decisions like the one above...it is basically because of one person who taught me a good lesson and i am sure of getting passed in it. that much deeply i have learnt that lesson.

I am going to finish my project within this week. not sure how much bug it contains..now a days i dont like to work in the present company where nobody is perfect and i am nobody. Nothing really performance based. no appraisal. nothing much.... may be i can have my present company as a start up company...but i must go to the company which really needs my brain, talent etc.

most of the higher official are looking for their life only. to simply say about it ... everything politics and everywhere politics.. politics sucks.....

Wow ! this day is great day for me. i have finished one small project which is a customization one. and also some more changes has to be done.

fight with printer
i was fighing with the printer at home to take the print out of the various pictures. but only one got printed out. damn it. it wasted my time and money for the printer ink.

too Slow like a snail...
my computer become too slow like a snail in processing the data like images, files, etc i may start to hate my computer unless i upgrade my RAM.

Father's torture...
my father was torturing me to help him out in his office work. when i was in college, i used to help him. but as of now i hate doing those kind of works. its like using word, excel.

Yep! A Post after a week. Now its a Post after a Month. today is the most good day for me . Last two months went very good and lots of good happenings in my personal and official life.

About my Workplace
My workplace have been changed to Elnet Software City from Tidal Park. Initially i did not like my workplace. even now it is not comfortable,. it is too glaring because of high intensity light on the ceiling. and window doors...etc and lot. we switch off the light and work.

My websites sales..
my shopping website sales is now increasing and i am on the way to increase more..i am poking around my cells in the brain to search for the ideas to enhance my site. but end up with messy and naughty thoughts.

I dont like myself for not posting for more than 2 months
It is almost two months since i blogged. i do not have internet at workplace. so i find it difficult for me to blog. i do not like myself for being lazy in writing the blog.

I am back for blogging. For the past one week i did not blog which i feel bad when i think about that. I was busy working for the project in my company. I was asked to fix the security holes that is present in the application project. I was also working on my website where i made dramatic changes interms of marketing, and product display. though i went out for direct marketing, i can say marketing is a tough job. But who is capable of doing that, can become great if they proceed in right way and utilize the opportunity.

I went to some top branded shops for asking products information to feature in my website. some responded to my inquiries, and some not. all i can say is " No Pain , No Gain". If u really worked hard for anything, u might get pain. if u feel that painful, then i can say there is no gain in doing that. if u feel that is good, then gain will reach you. this proverb was told by an Actor Kamal Hassan inRadio Mirchi. I took this and when i get some pain and i will make my mind to console myself as i am going to reach to everest peak one day. all these pain will be converted to smile.

Project Estimation

Project Estimation is nothing but you specify/ schedule a start and end date for each modules in the project after careful analysis of each modules in the project. As my PL as estimated the no of hours and no of days for the project, i was asked to do update the start and end date for each module.

since i did not had any experience about that, i agreed to her that i will fill it. soon after that i started filling it. at first i did for a single person. say a module will have 80 hours. if one person working for 8 hours/day then it means 8 man days to finish the work. this is right for a single person working. but when it comes for the team work, then there might be 3 people working. i should also fill the date in such a way that activities were parallel so that 3 people work in different modules there by finishing the project with the deadline. i was asked to do like that. after careful examinations with the dates, i some what managed to do that.

Lets see how things going to work tommorrow.

Wow. Till from the morning i was working with the computer and searching for some thing new which i can enhance my website. after muthu came to my house we together to market our shopping website. first we decided to go all florists shops and talk to them about our site. like wise we got the details about the florist shops in chennai and we went which is near to my home.
first customer to us said to us that "come and meet me tommorrow". we talked to him and we explained our business model to the shop owner. may be he got the pamplet we gave to him. might do good i think if i go tommorrow.

second customer to us said "if u come for advertisements, then we dont provide anything.". we explained the concept of free shopping and we told them that we do favour to you. after that owner aggreed to give us the products. lets see how things works.

third customer to us said "I will call you.". i am not sure that this customer will do some favour to us. but any way we met them and learnt not do mistakes while marketing our website.

each time we went to our customer, we learnt from past mistakes we did, and rectified it. muthu done wonderful job in initiating the conversation. after that i continued with out strucking...

CHENNAI: Students who tried to log on to the Internet for results in several of the portals were disappointed in the first hour after the release of the results.

Many of the portals did not open up even after 11 a.m. The only one which kept up and running during the peak traffic period was the Sify.com's website http://results.sify.com.

He worked for results.sify.com which features about the higher Seconday School Examination Result 2005. Today i went to office earlier around 8.15 AM for bug fixing of my project. After that, as the entire tamil nadu awaits for the +2 Results. one of the people from news/content brought the CD containing the results given by DGE in a short time to our office.

withint 18 minutes the data has been upped in the database and around 10.15AM we are about to see the result in our results page. we all were waiting from 9.30 AM. after that results have been published and then we are the first one showing the results among other websites who publish the result.

i saw most of the result sites pages were down or no results page. we have got expertise and we did it in a least time. cheers for the DBA Team, Technology Team, Management Team of our company who made this happen.

Javascript, Focus, User Interface

The most hated thing is the javascript bugs which i was happen to face today in the application which i developed. Javascript are nothing but a client side scripting language which eases the processing of data before giving it to the server for further processing.

The Testing team is good enough to pin point even a mistake equal to the size of the pin. All sorts of focus, javascript errors, navigations which we say as Unit Testing. Everything should be addressed to make the application robust, user friendly etc. I was working and working...on as many bugs related to above mentioned things. i was not happy about the way it went since i did not d0 the project according to the testing guidelines.

If u r a developer, dont just concentrate only on functionalites...since most client care about layout and loooks than the functionalities. they know you would do the functionality. but the layout /design is the most important when it comes to the website / web applications.

Today fine morning i went to dinagar's house who is a college friend of mine. his harddisk was in problem and he was not able to access it for the past weeks.. so i went to his house to check it and repair it. i could figure out the problem but failed rectifying it. i was not sure why it did not got repaired. i asked him to bring the harddisk to my home for checking and repairing at my home.

at home i connected his hard disk and then used testdisk utility, partition magic for recovery. nothing really helped recovering his hard disk data. so left it with it. i told him to consult a hardware engineer for recovery of his data

Today is Holiday for me. but due to some pending works, i came office and was shocked that our development server did not work and its ip address was assigned to some other computer in the network. soon i was searching for the computer which uses the ip address of our server. i had done nmap from linux, ping from windows/linux, sent a network message thro a win messenger etc. as i was going on searching, suddenly i saw our server got its ip address and working. after that i started the web server and database server and continued working with my pending works...

Software Testing

Software Testing means testing the quality of the software product developed by the developer before delivering the product to the client. Yeah! a great work done by my friend working with me as a trainee. she is good in testing more than me. she points every small bugs in the application i developed.

All sorts of validations, functionalities etc in the application were completly checked by her and reported the bugs to me. i am wondering how this girl can do that much better testing looking after every small unit of the application. when i saw her for the first time in the office she was not good enough to handle (this is what i thought about her). but now she is more good than before. i also asked her about her wonderful performance. she replied "all because of doing testing for a big project which helped me learn more". (these words are not exact.)

Anyway i should also learn to test the application like her. though i do coding in a fast way, i also should improve the ability of testing the application which i am developing. If you are a developer, learn to test the application you develop before giving it to the testing team. since most of the bugs might be silly/ easily traceable as you gain experience. Bug Fixing; Physically Challenged person

Today I was fixing bugs in my application which i developed. lot of changes in the application which was found as bugs by one our tester. she is good in pointing out issues which are important which was not noticed by me. My PL never appreiciate me for testing.

One of my colleague with physically handicapped hand working with me. His hands was physically handicapped right from his birth. i asked him again and again the same question....? whether it is right from your birth??. He replied "Yes!" and he went away. My colleagues around me blamed me on asking such question to him. i was in thinking that i could ask my brother to look after his hands... That person is 3 Years experienced in IT and i was shocked hearing this...there are people still who are achieveing..

Hey, you...wanna to know about Mental torture???? Its my inner conscious which tortures me and there is a innner conscious in every one's heart. I have to complete my project by today itself. thought i have worked good, but slow in productivity. the proverb "slow and steady wins the race" doesnt fit for me. there is a slow. but not steady. i might lag behind the schedule.

This happens to every professionals in the IT industry like me. Mental torture symptoms are too much thinking on a single concept, headache, thinking something that is not relevent, finding places for relaxes etc.. These happened to me.

I think i can recover from that if i am going to finish the project in a good manner with some bugs. there are number of ways you cannot go into mental torture. they are as follows

Hi, I have come over certain websites comparing both yahoo and google search results. I think now days Google were concentrating more on revenue than their search results which was not before.

To prove this, i have experienced one and another from the other blogger.

Second Search Keyword: the the From Yahoo and From Google

From both results Yahoo Provided me the correct data which google Didnt. I am here not criticize Google but worried why google not showing it??? I suggest you when u search Google and find nothing use Yahoo! and then try for MSN. since from atleast once you might get the information what you are looking for

My First customer, Major part in project completed

Hey! I think i have achieved something. I got my first customer for my website for the first time. customer signed yesterday from coimbatore. This is My first success for my work done till now. he ordered for two versions of linux Operating system which costs Rs.100 inclusive of delivery charges.

I am also looking for more customers in the future. I must do some search engine optimisation for my website so that it comes first in the search result when the end user searched for specific keyword. I must also promote my website through paper advertising, sms, email marketting, etc and lots more...but all should be done in an innovative way that should not reflect what others were doing.

I have finished the major part in my project and now its going fine. i have to go to office tommorrow sunday and work the remaining minor part. I am becoming good in php and tech thinking and also plan to cultivate that in the forth coming days.

Myself and my colleague had a nice time working with regular expression. i am not good at reg exp. but she is good enough to handle any kind of reg exp. In my project, lot of different regular expressions were to be used. with my little brain, i am not able to think that much. so i asked only my office friend help. she is good in perl, regular expression. etc To know what is Regular Expression click here

We were enjoying coding the regular expression and i guess validating the content using regular expression is the easy way. nothing i wrote to validate. just one expression that will validate the data. i suggest you to validate the data using regular expression. when you use javascript, perl, php, ASP.NET etc use regular expression in these languages.

My Good PL vs My Worst Behaviour

Today is the quite day for me. since nothing went fine in the morning as my brother took my bike and went away. i came late as usual to office. as my PL got scolding from her senior, she scolded me. she doesnt want me to come late. but i dont know why i am late always... may be i should do some thing to over come this weakness. this is diesease from my school days. even when i studied in college i use to come late. same applies to office also.

i got scolding from my PL today morning. After that i became quite and no talks between her and me. i was first anxious at first and lately i realized after great fighting between the heart and mind. even this happened with my evergreen friends. my evergreen friends scolded me because of my late. Even i thought of moving to some other team or even other company. i was angry on her sayings. In my view my PL is good at managing projects, managing me also. she used to be friendly, but some times she might get angry but never neglects me...(i think). this happened to be true...how i come to know??? read the below paragraph

My PL came to me in the evening around 19 HRS IST and told me about the problem behind my late coming to office and she also explained me about the situation in the office. Right from the morning i didnt talk to her after i got scoldings,.. i didnt have my lunch.. because of this problem. but at the evening, she came to me and very kindly asked me why i didnt talk?.. and she even knew that. after that i told her that i will come early from tommorow which was answer i gave for her question.

I mentioned My worst behaviour as my Late coming and My Good PL for her kindness to me. Atleast for her sake, i should not come late. may be i shall come early to office from tommorow.....!!!

Linux Expert??
Yes, I would like to know the nook and corner of the architecture of the Linux OS since when I had my interest in creating an Operating System of my own! Since I like to customize most of the feature in windows operating system I cannot understand the behavior or I can not customize everything. When I heard Linux would be good for that thro one of my friend, I starting hacking Linux OS.
Computer Expert??
Yes I could say! When I studied PUC I had an aim of going in as medical student. But it doesn’t happen nor may I not put that much hard work in that. I got into IT after that. All my interest went to IT industry, computers.etc. started hacking the in and out of the computer software even I don’t know nothing about the software for which purpose I have been using it. That time when exploring I don’t have any particular aim that I have to go in only this platform. I have the mind that I should know everything related to computer systems. But my uncle said none is the master of all. Choose one and be the master in that particular. So even before I decided to go in for Linux platform, I was in confusion which one to choose. Through one my working friend which I got thro Chennai lug, I was inspired by his Linux knowledge. And I changed my mind to Linux platform and started to explore each and everything on open systems and its development. Since then till now I have been working on Linux administration and its system development.

Earn more???
Yes. This is my thought when I think about my sweet family. I would like to earn more which should be equal to my knowledge.

Achieve something????
More over than Earning, I would like to achieve something in this world. I want to be the person known by all before my last sleep. May be I should practice, hard work more than anyone for that to achieve. Invent new things which should be used by all. How do I achieve that?? Where I am focusing my future and how should I have to shape it and by using which tools. I have been googling my mind for these Q’s that arose in me all the day. Brief Intro about the Group
Evergreenstars group formed automatically (anbala sentha Kootam) at the start of doing 2.7 yr B.Tech. we jointly study, play, enjoy, have fun. Get Good marks too. Group members are myself, bhuvana,Hari, Rafi, Raji, Sathya, sankar, selvam, sathish.
Enjoyable fun SunDay!!!
We all went to Parthasarathy Temple in chennai and they all prayed God. Here we had delicious puliotharai, pongal, athirasam, somaas etc. then we had a nice jolly time as i was always building the house, joking. lots of fun we had. then we all went to spencers where hari bought shoes. and then had a good sight seeing their. we went to most of the shops for window shopping. then went to mylapore sangeetha and had fun their with arun's cell phone. and then returned to raji's home down home (kez veedu) and watched Chandramukhi there. then all went home back.

Its good that we enjoyed a lot after a long gap. had a nice time with the friends....

Salary, Project coding, New Project, unhappy

The happiest thing happened today is that i got this month salary. so gave around 7k to my parents and rest is with me. not to mention the salary package here. In my company, i start working on coding part after successfully completing the CMMI Documents Enjoyed the coding part and it made me to think. if i completed this project, then this would be my first project i have done following the CMMI Process.

New Project is on the way for my team my PL said today. Today one of my colleagues' last dayin sify. she is joining infosys. Since i joined my working company, many of the good programmers(Upto my knowledge) are leaving the company. It is a natural habit for everyone to think to move to best company than the better company for their individual growth.I am not blamming my company. infact i can say, i have much knowledge because of the company i am working now. but the company were not capable of keeping the talented person.

Turning around google, as i said, they disabled my account. i feel unhappy about the happening.
i dont find any other ways to promote my shopping website other than google. may be i shall try some other thing to promote my website.

CVS is the repository where i maintain my development files in versions. so that i might retrieve the version that worked better.

Definitions:

CVS is a version control system, and important component of Source Configuration Management (SCM). Using it, you can record the history of sources files, and documents.
Below is the Short How-To for using CVS

General Commands need to be executed only once
export CVSROOT=:pserver:[your username here]@[cvs host]: [repository Path]
cvs login

Importing a New Project
mkdir [your project directory with module name]
cd [your project directory with module name]
cvs -d respository path import [module name] [vendor tag] [release tag]

Checking out a Project Before modifying the Code
cvs co [module name]
Note: you'll be downloading the entire project files in to folder named after the module name

Checking in the modified files
cvs commit (Assuming you are in your project directory )

Adding a single File
cvs add [File Name]

updating the Project File from the CVS Server
cvs update (Assuming you are in your project directory )

Reason for happiness.....

HeY I have installed debian yesterday night with the minimum netinst iso which i downloaded previous day using the BSNL broadband connection (30KBps download rate). i was trying from day before yesterday installing it. i succeeded only yesterday and tried to configure the internet. but it didnt work!

Today morning i think it's a good morning for me. i am able to configure my debian to use with internet and downloaded gcc, xfce(in progress) etc. I am happy about the progress at my home.

Moreover i was happy that i went to bhuvana's house and raji's house and spent some time with their parents and came home at around 10-11pm. Had good chat with raji's parents...

Too Much Greedy I am.....

Hey! Recently i have been working hardly on how to make money online. So i browsed the web and found out certain things. one is Google Adsense, other is referral programs like in amazon.com, and other websites. i signed up almost most of the affiliates program to promote my website but nothing happened. i think all are not good!!!

so i started using the Google Adsense in my blog, my websites, etc. when ever i do searching in my own site, if i found a link use ful i was forced to click it. but happened to be the last click for my adsense program. they have disabled my account telling me that i have made some invalid clicks through some robots or programs.!!! But I didn't. I think i am Greedy....thats why i clicked on the ads link which became the last click....Oops.!!!

anyway google is doing good job in that protecting the people and also giving the people what they want.... Dont think that i am publish more post regarding google. I like their innovations, creativity... thats why i am posting. i never missed hitting the google before starting my work...

Hey!!! If you are guy working for hours.....????

Then Stop working now!. I am like you working crazy by sitting before the computer and now i am with problems like neck pain, back pain, eye burning etc Everyone told me not to work like that when all my interest was towards the computer system. I dont Know why i am working like this...may be to achieve something in life...Yeah! for that only.

But you should be taking care of your health. i am suffering now with the infections i mentioned in the above para. do some exercise, yoga, meditation so that you can keep your self fit and good living in the future. Have some energy Drinks if u feel tired. Sleep well which is very very important for our life. i will not sleep more than 5 hours. but u must sleep around 8 hours. even i am trying to do that so that u might get tensed while working.

Take a break every hour and walk some distance while in job. Sleep in the flat surfaces and take bath in normal water so that u r body pain will get reduced otherwise it will persist. Its better to take bath two times a day as it is Hygienic and also good to health!!!

Good friends are good for your health. Make friends......

Document Preparation

For every software developer, they know to prepare a document. It can be either SRS which abbreviates System Requirement Specification that contains information about the how a system should be after it has developed or DD - Design document that contains the technical information about the system and database design document. I am been preparing this and learnt something how to prepare it and why it is needed for the software project.

you have done a project with no documentation and left the company. when other developer who is doing maintainence will not be able to reverse engineer it, unless he/she is a expert in doing that. I have experienced this when i did a project with huge source code Files!!!

From then i have been coding the files with inline comments, following coding guidelines etc so that the other developer who will be taking up the maintainence of the project which i worked, will feel comforatable.

For clarity about the project i even created a demo using the Macromedia Captivate. Use some good icons to represent entities so that the developer will be able to understand it clearly than from the textual explanation.

So, if u r a software developer, and thinks like me , go ahead and follow the SDLC - software development Life cycle and do documents before start coding the project......! :)

Making money

I used to think about how to make money in huge amount. but end up with craz ideas which involves huge investments. making money is not as easy as on the internet. but u have some ways which are using Google AdSense Search, Amazon Associate Programs and other Affiliates Programs available on the internet. Not all going to benefit us. only some will do.

I sometimes think that why not i start a business and make huge money. but when i involved in it, i realized it is not as easy as programming or any other work we do. It involves dedications, trust, and more over self confidence so that we shall not let our heart discourage it.

so, now i am working for a company where i learned lot of things about managing the business and still learning and experiencing. but one day i shall implement my ideas which are sleeping in my deep heart. waiting for the days to come.......

I have some more ideas to come and will share in this blog from today with a daily post of atleast 1 or 2 which might be a technology related or life related that comes to my mind. most people blog their views which they might not able to express to others. even i also follow that.

I do not have in-person good communication skills. So i thought blog is the right way to express my views, ideas to this world. i have added On this day part which is use ful to see the historical events on this day that happened. even i added some google advertisements which might give me some revenue. I am Crazy about google's innovation day by day!!!

they are very good in search technologies. they create lot of good innovative things with that search technology. I used to go to their blog site right from the first day they created the blog. Read all those articles. Even i've been thinking about getting into Google Company!!!!

It Seems like they create Wonders!. Their services like Maps, recent Search history, Image search, Ride finder, Gmail attracts me a lot. In my View Google want to the web to be the Peoples one and not the providers one. they created vast changes in Advertisements by using simple Text Ads according to user search keywords. No PopUps. No Image flashy Banners!!!! Thanks to google.

May be they might turn the entire web to their path in the mere future. I am sure i will be working in google once in my life time or i shall try for it......

Linux installation without CDROM and FLOPPY...

1) Download Fedora Core 3 files
Tips: The following 3 files for installation

Note: It seems that only CD ISOs works for harddisk installing because it promopts "CDROM image", but I did not tried

3) Make a FAT32 patition and put the ISOs to a folder in it

4) Use Deamon Tool to mount FC3-i386-disc1.iso in Windows

5) Prepare to use GRUB in Windows
-- Download GRUB FOR DOS from http://newdos.yginfo.net/grubdos.htm

-- Unzip it and copy the file "grldr" and directory "boot" to c:-- Modify the file c:\BOOT.INI to add the following in the last line:

-- Modify C:\boot\grub\menu.lst to add new section "title Install Fedora Core 3"
as follows:

Tips:
hd0 -- The firsr hard disk
4 -- The partition contains ISOs (I have totally 3 partition with a hidden partition at the beginning of the disk, and the ISO is in drive E, the 4th partition (please note that it is a virtual drive instead of a physical partition, but in windows, it will ignore this difference))

6) Reboot

7) When prompting the method to install, Select "Harddisk"

8) In next screen, Select the partition contains ISOs and input the directory contains ISOs (like /fc3)
Tips: Because my E drive is actually the first logical drive in Extension Partition, so it is /dev/hda5

9) Finish the installation

DataGrid Sort Column CSS

If you've tries to set CSS styles for your DataGrids, you may have run into a problem with sort columns. Sort columns contain DataGridLinkButtons which render as HTML anchor tags. Since these controls are contained within the DataGrid header itself, setting the CssClass for the header won't get the style applied to the anchors. The easy solution is to set the styles directly in the grid at design time, but that means changing the aspx/ascx should a style change be required. It would be better to be able to set the styles in CSS and it can be done with a little ingenuity.
The trick is to use what's called Contextual Selectors and Pseudo-Classes. I'll show a sample that sets a DataGrid's headers to a gray background with white text. The HeaderStyle CssClass of the grid has been set to TaskGrid_Head. Here's the sample and then I'll explain it:

..TaskGrid_Head, TaskGrid_Head td, .TaskGrid_Head a, .TaskGrid_Head a:link, .TaskGrid_Head a:visited, .TaskGrid_Head a:hover{ font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #ffffff; background-color: #c0c0c0;}

What this does is to tell all td's and anchors who are contained within elements with a CSS class of TaskGrid_Head to take on the style as defined. The TaskGrid_Head td is an example of such a Contextual Selector.
One more item: To get all the states of an anchor to behave, use the pseudo-classes a:link, a:hover, and a:visited.
